this was the fancam that made me realize that this song was made for kyuhyun. kry each has different voices, all of which are suited for different types of songs—this one would’ve been amazing if kyuhyun sang it as a solo. the jump of an octave in the beginning of the second chorus that he sings—that sweeps me away every time, and his falsetto near the end—he just owns everything in this song. not to say that kry didn’t do it justice, but kyuhyun would’ve made it just as beautiful.

i just love watching him perform ballads. he stands there and stares out into the crowd and you never know what’s going through his mind—and then he brings the mic to his lips and he starts singing like the song is the most heartbreaking thing in the world. it’s both stunning and breathtaking and i can never stop staring.
